Visiting with the Weather Channel

Trey Howard bumped into Mike Seidel from The Weather Channel during their coverage of Subtropical Storm Alberto as it landed in Laguna Beach, Florida.

Although Alberto landed 100 miles away from Orange Beach, the effects were felt all over the southeastern United States as the storm moved inland. The storm produced heavy rainfall as far west as the Alabama/Mississippi border. Striking an area still recovering from 2017’s hurricane assault, Alberto’s effects went as far north as Ohio, causing five deaths in its path and flooding in North Carolina, as well as several tornadoes.
